In this modern age, the internet is a wonderful resource which can help one educate themself in any subject they desire. However, interacting with another human is an essential part of learning. Some wonderful people have assisted me in my pursuit of photography and I wish to thank them here.
Cedric is a painter, art teacher, and photographer residing near Antwerp. We first met playing chess online and soon learned we had many fundamental beliefs in common. He is an impressive painter who infuses wonderful subtleties which ornament his strong technical ability to create works offering sobering impressions. Eventually, photographry provided us a common artistic medium. His efforts with paint, drawing, and a camera have influenced my photographs considerably. He has been extremely supportive of my efforts and I am very thankful for the kind words he has shared with me over the years. If you click on his name above you will be carried to his flickr page. It remains unclear which one of us is the better chess player.
John is an accomplished commercial and fine art phototographer. His work has been exhibited extensively and he has studied with some historic artists. We began to interact in an online photography critique group. He has not only been willing to respond to my questions throughout this process, he has also given me keen replies which led me toward introspection and evolution. He is extremely knowledgable about photography and communicates complex ideas in a digestable fashion. I am sincerely grateful for the time and consideration he has given my queries over the years. His name above is linked to his website and I have linked his blog below.
